It’s been over a year now since I first reviewed Salt & Pepper, from Tesla Themes.  I decided it was time to revisit this one to see if it’s stood the test of time.

Maybe it’s something where my tastes have changed or it’s just something I didn’t notice before, but I actually pretty much hate the typography in this theme.  That font, the sans serif one in titles, just doesn’t look good to me.

This theme has been around for about 5 years now and it’s still doing well in sales.  It’s just passed the 3000 mark in fact, a real milestone.  The rating is over 4.5, which is sort of the bare minimum for recommending a theme.  One thing I’ll add, I love that this theme doesn’t use Visual Composer.  And I’ll bet you a Big Gulp it loads up fast.

Whattya know, no Visual Composer means a super fast load time.  It’s like a trend.
